What happens in an Embodyment^® Session?

While you relax, fully clothed, in simple yoga poses, the Embodyment^® Therapist places his/her hands on pivotal points on the body to facilitate profound release of deeply stored tension in the muscles that connect to and surround the spine.

The release of tension travels up through the whole length of the torso - into the lumbar and thoracic spine and finally into the hands, feet, and head.  Your internal sense of awareness deepens, and your body's own healing ability is awakened and enhanced.

The healing continues long after the treatment has ended.  One session will result in in a feeling of deep relaxation and rejuventation.  A series of sessions will provide great benefit in treating chronic pain and other long-standing conditions that yoga poses alone cannot reach.
